Week 13 gets started with a big NFC matchup between a pair of wild-card teams in the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys. These two teams are moving in opposite directions, and our player prop angles reflect that.
Dallas' Brandin Cooks has started securing his role in this offense as WR2, and his explosive playmaking has been a big reason why.
Over the last five weeks, Cooks has eight catches of 20+ yards, logging a long of 22+ in four of those games. This big-play ability should shine on Thursday against a Seattle team allowing the ninth-most 20+ yard passes per game this season.
We're liking Cooks to keep it rolling for Dak Prescott and this offense.
This game brought about a bit of a challenge on the Seattle end. This Dallas defense isn't typically a team we'd want to target, so in many ways, this is a bet more on the Cowboys than it is on the Seahawks. Dallas is intercepting passes at the third-highest rate this year, led by Da'Ron Bland's historic season of pick-sixes.
Smith has tossed an interception in six of 11 games this year, but the mistakes have piled up more of late with Smith tossing seven picks in his last seven games.
On the road, Smith. has three INTs in his last three. Seattle tends to pass at a high clip, coming into this one with a pass play percentage rate that's sixth-highest in the league. With that added volume comes more chances for a pick against a defense that feasts off risky passes.
